This idea can be given a though and implemented using various certificate issuers/ISPs/trusted third parties on the net. Hence Windows Live simply needs to agree to authenticate OpenID users to their online resources. The registration information can obviously be collected from respective OpenID registration site. We currently also have a Sharepoint 2007 site and are wondering if we could use Single Sign On between both environments In other words, people log in to the Sharepoint site and when clicking the Windows Live URL are automatically logged in. Can you also post which was the SDK used for each bot of the list I used Akonix to make my bot but couldn't get improvecenter to host my bot correctly, I want to know if any of the winner bots was done with that SDK. I hosted a bot with a different IM Address with just the same code and it worked fine, but I couldn't host the one submitted to the contest. You can try it using bot_jorge@hotmail.com (when my computer is online) that works fine. It's the same as msngamerobot, a robot that plays games and where you can register and search for other players in a map, ... If I understand exactly what your saying is that you want the v3 dashboard to be positioned (and probably look similar) to the v2 dashboard. I mean you could hack the API to position the v3 dashboard to be in the center, but it'll overlap the center of the map which will look really ugly.     - Microsoft VX3000 webcam on Vista I also have same webcam with Vista 64bit. Different problem however. It worked fine with driver 1.3 and 2 gbyte memory. After upgrading to 4 gbyte only black screen and system hangs until I unplug webcam.     - Tile Server and Security Your custom tiles are requested directly from the client in javascript. So for example if those tiles were secured to your network, or by authentication, then you would quite happily have a secured way of functioning. Except that if the information is transmitted across a public network it can be intercepted and read, just like anything on the internet. The usual solution is SSL. Unfortunatly you cannot run VE under SSL, serving that many images would be a performance nightmare.     - Trouble with GeoRSS sample Thanks for the reply but I am afraid I get the exact same error. I changed the link from "yourserver" to a valid link in my domain and substitued a valid GIF file in the same directory I had the georsstest.html file in for "someImageFileonYourMachine.gif". but I still get an error box with "Unable to load sourcefile." By "The example only seems to work if you use the example URL" I assume you mean all the same file names. I tried to copy it as faithfully as possible but still had no luck.     - Contacts API - Deleted Contacts YuanYuan, that's great. I just ran into one other tricky issue when trying to Sync and that has to do with Tags also known as Categories and wanted to share some thoughts. In Windows Live Tags reside outside of the contact itself and the categories themselves have links to the actual contacts themselves. I suspect this is because this mirrors an underlying relational database schema The trickiness comes when someone edits a category for a single contact - lets say they remove a category for a contact. There's no easy way to detect changes of this nature and easily propigate them. I think you could easily resolve if modified dates were available for each Tag (or perhaps even at a deeper level like the contact ID within eash Tag). However, I think you should really consider something else. The way Tags are organized, requires extensive parsing of the entire tags list to determine the list of categories for a single contact - sort of cumbersome. I think assigning categories all at once (like vcard does), would be cleaner from an API standpoint. Like this inside of the contact inself: <Tags><Tag>Business</Tag><Tag>Personal</Tag></Tags> I think this represents more naturally the way people think about contacts - that is, the categories assigned are part of the contact itself. thanks for listening, Scott Schmitz RealOrganized, Inc.     - Isn’t popfly about developing blocks, mashups and sharing/using them? Is it possible for me to create a Block that is written in VisualC++ I want to do some image processing on images and video. I have some functions that I have written in C++ that I woud like to use. I would like to get images from the facebook block and run it through my image processing functions (blocks) and output the processed images to a slide show viewer. Same for video. I would like to get video from a site, use a C++ block to perform video processing, and then send the results to another block. I would also like to keep the code for the C++ block to be hidden, and expose only the API and ability to use the block. Thanks in advance for your answers. Had to change my email address when comcast took over from TW.

Changed my email address with MS.net passport.

Now whenever I start Live Messenger (Ver 8.1) it shows me online but all my contacts offline. I've verified with them by phone that they ARE online. Also I appear to them as offline.

Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated!
