Is it possible to somehow hide incomine messages from messenger user
I need to process some incoming data, and it would be very useful if i could use incoming messages as instructions to my addin. These messages should not be displayed to user...

- Are "Windows Live Data" and "Astoria" the same or different? Yaron said it all, just wanted to reinforce it from my side. We have been touch since the very early stages of both projects. We participate in each other's email discussion groups, and we see design decisions coming and going from both sides. Like any other incubation project, at the first stages you want to give freedon to the projects to explore the space. Once you get to a point where the technology seems promising (e.g. you decide you don't just kill the project) you start working on taking it to the next stage and look around to leverage as much of existing infrastructure as possible. Even as we were leaving Las Vegas on the way back to Seattle I ran into Paul and we arranged to start looking into differences in more detail shortly. - Pulling images from SharePoint Picture Library? I'm not sure about that one. The SharePoint site has it's own people/groups access permissions and there doesn't appear to be an "anonymous user" account to add, at least in the deployment I'm on. (don't have control of that). I can add a user and assign username/password and give "read" permissions to all SharePoint site content. - How do I use an RPS ticket with LiveContacts API? Hey guys.. I've had the exact same problem!! I'm a VB.Net boy, but the code provided at the above URL for getting an RPS token seemed to work fine. I changed the HTTP header to the above - zilch! When I try to make any request to add a contact using my own credentials, it throws a Server 500 error back. - class=VE_PlaceList_Title Sorry about the confusion in the thread. Your post was helpful. What I ended up doing was locating the DIV id and then setting that div element to display:none. There is another child DIV element inside that DIV which holds an A element which is loaded with an onclick event that holds the coordinates that need to be fired to complete the driving directions. - Sample: MSN AddIn - Text to Speech You get that error if MsnAddin.SpeechTest.dll isn't in the global assembly cache. gacutil /i c:\path\MsnAddin.SpeechTest.dll To run an msn addin in restricted mode it needs to have a strong name and be in the GAC, otherwise it will run with "internet"-permissions and you'll get that security error. - GeoRSS file not rendering in IE The reason you are experiencing this issue is because the XMLHttpRequest calls must be made to a web server in IE. In firefox it allows you to reference a file locally on your hard drive rather than over a server. Since you are only trying to update bids I suggest you use UpdateOrderItemsBid . What I do (using PHP/NuSOAP) is modify the order items stored locally and send everything back using the UpdateOrderItems. Works fine. - Custom Tiles and Performance Ok, decided to bite the bullet and use the VETileSourceSpecification to create my own map layer instead of the overhead of MapCruncher and its pngs. - cannot open internet options same problem ... internet options does not open from control panel. But even greater problem is I have no tool bar in IE7. There is just a top line with the URL address. No history no favoriates, no tools button. I was hoping to open internet options to see if there were some option to turn on and off the menu line. Is there any method, property, or work-around to be able to determine if GetRoute() has failed We disable the Disambiguation dialogs because we use our own div's to display messages (to keep everything in look with the rest of the page/site). We have an animation-type thing where the ...'s in a div that says "Getting Route, Please Wait..." animate like . then .. then ... etc. When a route is found, a function is called to stop the timer and hide the div again, but since we disabled the disambiguation dialogs, (and even then) there's no clear way at least of calling a function or block of code when a route isn't found (for example if a result happens to be overseas and there's no driving route). When you click within the country's borders, it diplays news for that country. Same for the states of the united states.
