We currently also have a Sharepoint 2007 site and are wondering if we could use Single Sign On between both environments In other words, people log in to the Sharepoint site and when clicking the Windows Live URL are automatically logged in.     - vista problems with windows live messenger My problem is i try to log on and it just sits there...attempting to log on but, like before, its just sittin there. Eventually i get a troubleshoot your connection pop up, but then im told by live messenger that i am directly connected to .net service and directly connected to the internet through a local area network.     - Bird's eye pushpin bug? Not working even in the interactive SDK. I'm having difficulting adding a pushpin in bird's eye view. I also noticed that the Interactive Virtual Earth site does not work if you do the following: 1. zoom to an area and switch to Bird's Eye view 2. select Use Default Shapes/Add Default Shapes/Add Pushin This does not add a pushpin, and it seems to also crash the map, as I can't switch back to map view anymore. What does seem to work is if you start with map view and THEN switch over to bird's eye, but not vice versa. Is this really a bug, or am I doing something wrong Thanks in advance.     - Polylines are not coming in Netscape 8.1 I'm curious about when reloadpath() method is called. Have you checked your co-ordinates to make sure their correct when your drawing the polyline (A simple alert and printing them out/verify would work). Tag: Overlay in the way

    - Map Control position Hi Derek, I am talking of the nav control available on the Map. Earlier(in v2) this control was positioned at the top right of the map and now with the new version its positioned at the left.     - Changed E-Mail Address - Contacts all appear offline - Please Help! Had to change my email address when comcast took over from TW. Changed my email address with MS.net passport. Now whenever I start Live Messenger (Ver 8.1) it shows me online but all my contacts offline. I've verified with them by phone that they ARE online. Also I appear to them as offline.     - Microsoft VX3000 webcam on Vista Guys I had heard about problems to use webcams with vista and now I know it is. Ever since I bought my acer with builtin 1.3 mp camera it worked once. Some people had it resolved when they deleted/removed all pictures (even sample ones) from the MyPictures folder. This did not work with me. So if someone/microsoft knws the solution.     - Contacts API - Deleted Contacts Hi, Scott: I think that the dominant usage of Tags is to categorizes entities that shares a certain attribute together. Photo tags, blog entry tags, etc, are used for this primary purpose. What you described as "cumbersome" is actually a reverse look up into a categorizing system to find out which categoires that a certain entity belongs to. If we embed the tag inside the entity, it will faciliate the scenario you are concerned with but it will lose its primary functionality, that is, provide a general index index into a collection of entities that share a common attribute. Can you use XPath to achieve what you want to do Based on your description, I think first retriving the complete Tags collection and then use XPath to look up the ContactID you are interested in may do the trick. Yes, this is not the most direct way as embedding tags inside the entities will provide, but this is a trade-off we have to make to when deciding what is the first and foremost feature we want to support.     - Windows Live Problems, Signing in not working I've followed both links provided - both links seem to take me to the same menu of help options and I followed the recommended steps under 'Why Can't I Sign In ' and it did not help.     - account is temporarily unavailable The issue still persists. It's about our Agent with provisioned account alice@worldofalice.es . It's running on Akonix software, hosted on our own server. There are several other bots running on that same server, these have a lot more users and are functioning fine. Indeed the lockout is only noticeable when the Agent tries to re-login. Unfortunately, due to instability of the software platform, the service needs to be restarted few times a day to keep all Agents running, so then the lockout affects this Agent when it tries to login again. In my opinion, at least regarding Agents, it's not very logical to block the account in case of a hack attempt. A lot more efficient would be to block the IP address from which the false login requests are made.     - Bug: Carousel block Intermittent: In the Carousel block, sometimes a set TWO images are "linked" to ONE image. Then, when the right-most image is clicked, the leftmost image is brought to the center. When the left-most image is clicked, the right-most image is centered.     - adCenter API Production SSL Certificate Change February 21, 2007 I can assure you that as long as the certificate is properly signed, there is no need to manually import the certificate in Java. The Yahoo Overture, Yahoo Panama, and Google equivalents of your APIs have not required any such manual work within the last several years that we have been using them daily (well, except Panama which is fairly obviously). I'm not sure what the problems have been with your certificates; maybe they have been signed by an authority that is microsoft specific and the world at large doesn't recognize, maybe something is odd about their format.     - 2 displays in 1 mashup Here is what I'm trying to build: 1 entry field would feed 2 searches : * 1 for pictures * 1 for hotels or restaurants (I get that from a RSS feed) Then if you enter "Eiffel Tower" in the entry field you would see pictures of the Eiffel Tower from Flickr and restaurant next to the Eiffel Tower. I embedded my "Get user tag and display Flickr images" mashup into my blog. Unfortunately, the Silverlight overlay (with the mashup info, ratings, and Silverlight info) covers up the "go" button and therefore my mashup no longer works.

Ah, unfortunately there is no easy fix for this :-|. You can add custom html from the "Add Custom HTML" tab in the mashup editor view and insert a line break or two which should bump the text box down. Far from ideal, but unfortunately the overlay has to go somewhere.

On another note it looks like the default colour for the text is white along with the default background colour of white, this is a bug, we will look at fixing. D'oh.

Yeah, I noticed the white text on white background as well. I'll play around with adding some custom HTML and see if I can get this in full working order.
