    - Two Weeks - No Answers? In reverse order (i think...) Carousel: Yea that block does just make no sense when it comes to user input it's been on our "to fix" list for a while, will make sure we emphasize that it's a block people really do use. Fonts: I think what we're going to try to do for FontSize is pick it up from the CSS of the page and the expose a default font size propert that can be set. We haven't done this yet as Silverlight doesn't use CSS so setting it requires some Javascript and changes to all the blocks which has just been too much work to tackle . Images In PhotoTiles: Clicking on the image in photo tiles does just "zoom in" on that image which will make thumbnails (such as profile pictures) very ugly . I'll look into the image sizing soon as i can JPEG Compression: Off the top of my head 20% seems like a low quality rate, I don't use JPEGs that often but certainly you would see some blurring at that rate as the algorthim lumps together bigger sections. Silverlight only has native support for BMP, JPG and PNG for all else (such as GIF) we have to catch the exception then transcode it server side to png. And sorry for the delay in replying to you .     - multiple routes What Derek was saying earlier is that with the V4 API of VE you cannot do this. As far as I can tell V5 (released in the last few weeks) doesn't offer this yet, either. You could try capturing the SVG polyline and RouteIntinerary that results as you're looping through your point pairs, converting all the pixels in the polyline to latlongs and then rendering it as one large polyline with manually placed flags for the routesegment pins. I think it could be done, and actually got a little ways towards completing it but was told to stop because my company will wait for MS to implement this in VE, rather than hack our own solution. If you add a pin to a map in MSN it numbers it with a corresponding description list. The server is running on Windows 2003 Standard on IIS 6.     - Custom shapes There's currently a bug in VE. If you attach a "onmouseover" event, you have to attach a "onmouseout" event too. If not, "onmouseover" event might not get fired correctly.     - declutter api I'm actually building this for a client at the moment, since they are paying for it I cannot share it freely . All I can say is it is possible to do with the version 5 api and some serious javascript programming. (about 8KB) I really don't see the point of this except for really small numbers of pins and maybe at maximum zoom level when clustering would like to be avoided (as you can't zoom any more). I can tell you that with more then 100 pins it really doesn't work that well. I would make a guess that the map point solution would require your data be stored with MSFT You need to declutter for each zoom level so this is a fair bit of data. I'm not sure what more I can say but I will see what I can do, the more people that use something typically means more testing, more bug fixes and a better solution for everyone. John.     - hand-drawing not showing up in mashup page I created a new mashup and did some hand drawing on the canvas using pen avaialbe on the mashup page. After I saved the page and went to preview page, the drawing is not showing up. Though when i come back to edit mode, the drawing shows up.     - problems finding a working SDK I see that this is a problem. The colloquis SDK will probably not be public anymore (or at least not soon) so you can stop thinking about that. The incesoft one should be working again. I have had the same problems with the IMProvcenter as you, so I wouldn't recommend that one either. You can submit data issues to the following email address: mpwsmap@microsoft.com . The change will not happen right away. MapPoint and Virtual Earth data is generally updated on a quartely basis.
