Hi,

I try to submit a bug in VS 2008 here.

On this page, it is said : "You need permission to submit feedback in this area. To apply for permission, browse through your choices on the Available Connections page".

On the connections page, you must participate in a program in order to post a feedback. The problem is that there is no VS 2008 program !

Is there an other way to submit a bug

Regards,

mathmax

Yes, Connect is the best way to submit bugs to the product teams.

The page is

https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio

https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/Feedback

They should be the only links you need. Just sign in with your Passport ID.

Any problems, let us know.

Yes, I went on those pages but no way to find a VS 2008 connexion in Available connexion. The only one that concerns Visual Studio is for VS 2005 beta 2.

The page covers all versions of Visual Studio, 2005, 2008, Rorasio and also the Express editions. When you submit a bug/suggestion you will be shown a dropdown where you select the effect version - for example Visual Studio 2008 Beta 2.

You will then be given other options, such as Web Forms, Compiler, IDE etc to help direct it to the correct team.

Hope this makes it clearer.
