Hi,

It looks like nobody has a straight answer how to create a SAML token parsing the SOAP response RSTR message. I think it is fundamental question about WS-Trust interoperability and using SAML tokens.

Is there somebody from Microsoft to point us to an example how we could create & validate SAML token parsing RSTR

Regards,

-Joe

I don't have a straight answer either because I don't really understand the question. Can you explain the scenario in more detail You can override System.ServiceModel.Security.Tokens.IssuedSecurityTokenProvider (or call it directly) to get access to federated RST/RSTR exchanges, but typically issued tokens are encrypted for the relying party's eyes only and so parsing the issued token out of the RSTR and validating on the client it isn't possible.

Hi,
I would like to add some more questions to this topic. First of all i am new with SAML token and WCF as well. I am reading the SAML standard and trying to implement a demo for secured login using WCF. My problem is i am not able to map the standard to WCF. can anybody tell me where to begin
Cheers,
