    - how can i display all the text in a listviewitem? Hi, i got confused with the property "text" of a listviewitem. When i add a listviewitem to the listview control with the "text" property such as the "10:00 PM wake up" string, the item in the listview control only display the front part "10:00 PM", and which instead of the string"wake up" is a ellipsis in runtime. Then, the next time i start the application the item display all the text "10:00 PM wake up". I don't know why I really want to display all the text in the listviewitem by using the "Add" method of the listview control, but i can't figure it out myself. How can i do it Thanks in advance.     - DivideByZeroException running GPS example code I’m new to pocketpc development with Visual Studio and just learning from the examples shipping with Windows Pocket PC SDK. I’m specially interested in devloping GPS aplications so I’m quite frustrated by getting an DivideByZeroException running the GPS example ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp url=/library/en-us/mobilesdk5/html/mogrfGpsSample.asp ).     - resize the gadgets by default hi everybody, I have some problems whith te size of the gadgets....when i make a test on the http://test.livegadgets.net/ platform, everythingh is ok with the size, the gadget is full screened showed. But when the gadget is approuved, and is loaded in my space for a real test, it sometimes sized ok, and sometimes cut so the height is truncated. It is possible to start the project using F5. But when I open the "Device Emulator Manager" and chooses to "Cradle" the started emulator nothing happens.     - Serial Port Mapping Problem on Pocket Pc 2003 Emulator Hello all; I am developing an RFID reader project, using VS2005 C#.NET on pocket pc emulator. My rfid reader device is connected on serial port of my computer. I can read and write to serial port of reader on pc application, but when I try to use emulator in my software, I fail to communicate. My device is on COM2. I map it to serialPort1(I guess it means COM1) on emulator, then I write my software which tries to communicate with COM1, then I deploy it. It seems to open the port, but when I try to send message, the program freezes. The weirdest thing is that, I can only open COM1 port on emulator, even if I map my device to serialPort2, or even if I don't map anything. I guess this means that mapping is not working. I try my software by using debug. I make the mapping just after the emulator starts and before the deploying completes. So I have to make mapping for each trial, and just before deploying completes.     - Cannot deploy database file to mobile device Hi, I developed a small application using VS2005 and SQL mobile. When I debug my application in VS2005, it works perfectly even if I try to deploy on my device. But after I created all the SmartDeviceCab, CustomInstaller and setup projects, and try to install my application on the device, I cannot find the database file (which is a .sdf file) in the folder where my application is installed.     - Creating pocket pc installer from visual studio 2005 problem. Hi, i had developed an application for pocket pc. To install it into the pocket (Windows mobile 5.0 or pocket pc 2003) im just compiling it with the pocket connected, and deploying it into the device. Now i would like to create the installer, to burn into a cd and install the app in any pc. I have notice that it doesnt copy the file called "AppDatabase1.sdf" that is a database or something like that.     - Deployment failing with "A device attached to the system is not functioning" OK, this just stopped working for me and I'm not sure exactly what I did to trigger it... I get the error "A device attached to the system is not functioning" when I try to deploy a project from within Visual Studio 2005 now. It has worked before, and to try resolve the problem, I have done the following: 1. Reinserted the Pocket PC (it is a Pocket PC 2003) in the cradle. This causes ActiveSync 4.5 to re-detect the device as inserted along with re-syncing with it, seemingly working right. 2. Rebooted my computer. 3. Reinstalled ActiveSync. 4. Reinstalled the Pocket PC USB driver, with a reboot following it. 5. Browsed the device from Windows Explorer. This works right, and I can navigate the folders, so I indeed have a connection. 6. In the Visual Studio 2005 mobile device toolbar, clicked on "Connect to device". This is successful. 7. I have no problems deploying to the Pocket PC 2003 SE emulator. Pretty much everything seem to work, but project deployment to the device. The process stalls for a few seconds, and I get the error above. It makes me wonder what VS 2005 try to do in the background but can't, when so many other things work.     - Lot's of things broken ... After the Spaces Update. From what I noticed so far, A lot of third party gadgets are tossing m_iframe javascript errors. It seems like third party gadgets if set to transparency no longer inherit spaces background color. It seems like they changed all gadgets to have an innate white back ground and transparency settings make everything white and no longer colored to the users selected schema. Live.Com - you can't view any gadgets or add any gadgets. The Api's for adding development mode for gadgets are not working, Existing gadgets in development mode you added via API's still appear to be working. But with the first two issues. I browsed a lot of spaces and it's pretty much across the board - Ton's of Javascipt errors on peoples sites. This was information as of last night. I didn't test things out today.     - Can WMP 10 on WM 5.0 really do streaming? I am needing to create a streaming application on Windows Mobile 5.0. My first tests have been to even see if WMP10 can really do streaming audio. I've tried an ASX, mp3, wmv file all from a remote server, as well as a streaming mp3 feed and get the same dialog saying "Cannot play this file.     - Transparent control I tried to make transparent control on WM5 using VS2005. But I got some problem. I made a custom control (round shape button which have mouseover effect) and overrides OnPaintBackground to do nothing to prevent the control to draw the control background and overrides OnPaint to paint a round shape graphic which used the setColorKey to set transparent color and paint it on the control. I put this custom control on a window form which user can change the form background image or photo at any time. The transparent is working fine. BUT, when there is any messagebox popup which can overlay the custom control button, the trasparent part of the control will not redraw and I still saw the "remaining" messagebox on the transparent region even I close the message box. How can I fix it And one more question is that how can I check is user clicked on the transparent region or not As I don't want the button to fire the click event when user is clicked outside or the transparented edge of the round shape (circle) button. I tried to run RPM and I did everything as it says but when I pressed the 'connect' button in RPM app I got the following error msg "CreateStream FAILED: Exception from HRESULT: 0x89731302" but at the same time my app started running on my pocket pc emulator. Any ideas why is this happening
