Checking for internet connectivity

Hi,

i wonder if there is an alternative method to detect that im already connected to the internet rather than using the HttpWebRequest to check if there is response. The reason is that i don't wish to trigger the automatically connecting to the internet.

i understand that it's possible to update the registry entry so that the automatic connection to the internet can be changed. but im not sure of the path of that entry in windows mobile 5.0. hope someone can point out to me.

You can use the Microsoft.WindowsMobile.Status class to get notification when connection is available.
