Mark Ihimoyan posted in http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx PostID=354069&SiteID=1 on 11-16-2006 that "the [keydown] issue described in the initial post ... has been verified to be a bug and it has been fixed in the next release."

I couldn't tell whether it was a fix to Windows Mobile 5 or some other software. Where can I find that fix  Thanks.

Hi KitWest,

The fix was to the .NET Compact Framework and it was incorporated into a future version of the product. Visual Studio Code Name "Orcas"

As such you will not be able to find the fix until the next version is released.

Thanks.

I've been able to work around it by catching Keys.F23 in my KeyDown event handler. It's goofy logic, because when I set Focus to the next [TextBox] control, it gets Keys.Enter from the same keystroke, which I have to ignore. (I suspect Symbol's implementation in the MC9060 and MC9090 PocketPC scanners may be an issue as well.)

Thanks.
