When I was doing debugging, the current solution was not compiled and Visual Studio asked with a dialog whether you want to debug with the previous sucessful build and there was a check box to check if we don't want to appear the dialog again.

I checked this by mistake...

Does anybody know how I can reset this again

Thanks And Best Regards,

/Dinesh...

Re: Visual C# IDE How to enable debugging with the previous sucessful build

Peter Ritchie

You can edit the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\8.0\General\RunAfterBuildErrors

Change it from whatever value is currently is (probably 0) to 2 to restore to the default.

OmegaMan

Check out the menu item Tools->Options and go to the Projects & Solutions tree node, open it and click on the Build and Run node. In there you will see On Run, When Build Or Deployment Errors Occur. Change that drop down to your desired outcome.
