If you really need intellesence for Javascript, you'll have to download Visual Studio.Net 2008 Beta 2.

There is no Javascript intellesence in Visual Studio 2003 or 2005.

I understand you are trying to sell the program your working on. The key is to create two projects and solutions. One for 2005 and the other for 2008. All of the other files stay the same.

There are other advantages to doing this, the other is the ability to debug Javascript (set breakpoints, check values, etc).

It is a pain, but if you are doing a significant amount of Javascript it is well worth the effort.

Well are u sure there is no service pack or something else microsoft has published to activate intellisense for JavaScript in Visual Studio yeah i know the files gonna be same whether i am using Vs2005 or 2008 but i encountered some unexpected errors on working with VS2008 and i take it ok due to fact that it is Beta 2.

I dont know of any service packs that do that for 2005.

But, I have been working with both 2005 and 2008 (beta 2) on my main work machine for several weeks now without any problems -- as have 2 other people in my office. I wouldn't have done it but I really wanted to try the javascript support, and that is amazing.
