I am writing an MMC 3.0 application using C#. I am trying to add sub menu items to the "View" menu that comes with every view and I cannot figure out how to do it. I was able to add my own sub menus at the same level as the "View"menu using the call:

ScopeNode.ActionsPaneItems.Add(...). I would appreciate any help I can get on this.

Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve,

As I understand, you would like to add a sub menu item to the "View" menu in your MMC 3.0 application.

Did you use MmcListView class in your MMC 3.0 application If yes, you can try to check out this MSDN document about MmcListView Members - http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.managementconsole.mmclistview_members.aspx for reference.

Besides, I'd like to suggest you to post this question to Visual C# Orcas forums - http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowForum.aspx ForumID=1016&SiteID=1 to get helps from there.

Hi Citizens on the earth,

I am NOT using the MMCListView. I am using an MMC Form view. I have my own grid that I am displaying and I want to allow the user to add and remove columns from it just like you can with the MMCListView.

I will also take your suggestion and try posting this question on the Orcas forum.

Thanks,

Steve
